Oh it'll definitely change the game...That's what a game changer does. Causes a switch in how games are made. U will now see more devs take risks w their worlds. U will see much bigger projects bc of NMS. Ppl need to understand it actually is revolutionary bc it is going to be the game that brings this style into the limelight. It didn't invent the genre but it is the game that will lead the revolution for this genre.
Yes you do create your own adventure. 100%. If by saying "you still do the same thing" you mean "fly low to the ground to see what the planet is like" then yes I agree. That would be common sense. If you are saying it gets repetitive then that's on you for doing the same stuff over and over instead of doing something different. I've felt no repetitiveness bc I keep doing things differently each time I go to a new place.

In all honesty my hype died down after watching countless videos of gameplay the last 7 months...Once I got my hands on it the hype resurfaced. The game is so much better to play than it is to watch.
It's only boring if u have no thought process. It's quite easy to find things to do for entertainment in the game. That's the problem w giving ppl so much freedom. It exposes dumb ppl that can't think for themselves and need games to literally tell them exactly what to do next. I'm about to switch over to the Xb1S so save the "Sony fanboy" bs, I'm not hearing it.

My advice is to get on the communities board on the ps4 and join the 2 biggest NMS communities. Ppl post pics nonstop of cool stuff on there.
It's exactly that. It's a game where u choose a direction and just go. U can follow the atlas path to give u a sense of what's going on but it's a choice they give u. I have no idea what direction I headed off in after leaving my first planet.
No. It's mostly random customers that are giving it good reviews. Ppl that actually play the game longer than a couple hours.
Graphics are fine. Gameplay is smooth as can be. Not sure what u were expecting but u obviously weren't paying attention to demo videos bc it's exactly as previewed. The story is open for u to live out. U might not have an imagination...That's a problem for these games. Some ppl need to have their hands held throughout a game and NMS isn't like that so u will have ppl that don't want to give it credit.
Also Elite Dangerous has NOTHING on NMS. A data sim vs actual space exploration? No thanks. U can keep ED, it's not fun at all. NMS however gives about a thousand more options once u can wrap ur head around all the game has to offer.
Is for me. Before release I had Dark Souls 3 as GOTY but this beats it by a wide margin. Uncharted isn't even on my top 5. I don't care for it.
If u don't find anything to do or interesting locations in NMS then it means u aren't exploring. In 7 hours I've come across at least 10 points of interest on 6 different planets. The ruins u can find are better than any ruins u will find in adventure games like Uncharted or even Tomb Raider. In those games u don't care about the ruins bc they are supposed to be there bc it's in the script. It's not out of the ordinary...In NMS when u find an alien ruin it is completel...
In March we had all the details we needed. The smart ppl comprehended what the game was by seeing the 20 hours of gameplay showed on YouTube. Only an idiot says they weren't showing details. They literally showed 20 hours of the game....
