Yoshi's Epic Yarn is more surprising than everyone's acting like it is. I for one wasn't expected a Yoshi game and definitely wasn't expecting it to be yarn.
It linked me to an article about Nintendo making games for other devices.
Two words: Dumb idea.
It's 1 buck. What's the big deal?
The problem with this franchise is they make WAAAAAY more games than they need to.
There's Mega Man 1 - 10
There's Mega Man Game Boy 1 - 5
There's Mega Man X 1 - 8, as well as Xtreme & Xtreme 2, and X Command Mission
There's Mega Man Battle Network 1 - 6 and a bunch of spin-offs of it
There's Mega Man Zero 1 - 4
There's Mega Man ZX & ZX Advent
and then there's Mega Man Star Force 1 - 3
...
I hope they finally do it right this time. But no, they'll probably make a level feature an enemy that makes it impossible, make the Nintendo version worse, feature some stupid gameplay that happens at night, make a Zelda ripoff, rush it so it's in time for the anniversary, include a human who falls in love with an animal, you know, the usual stuff.
What?
I'm just saying, the guy forgot to mention that. And, the fact that game was confirmed yesterday is more evidence.

Wouldn't those games coming soon and Nintendo's coming later be a good thing? That way you have some new games for 2013 and some for 2014.
Also, I'll bet Mario Kart and Yoshi come out this year.
Also, 2d games sell better. So, they're easier to make and sell better. If you worked at Nintendo what kind of game would you make? Super Mario Galaxy 3 or New Super Mario Bros. U?
I bet Wind Waker style got 9% because people would rather see a new style than go back to an old one. If they want to play a Zelda game in the Wind Waker art style, they can just play Wind Waker.
How many of those ps3 games are exclusives?
I have a feeling Yarn Yoshi will be a game for little kids. And, Wind Waker HD, what Zelda fan hasn't asked for that?
@FriedGoat
Why are you only discussing old 3DS games? You say they "still have little to no good hardware" and you talk about old games? FAIL!
What about the old days? What did Nintendo do then, they're not doing now?
And, if you think about it, constantly making sequels is a smart move. Because there are people who like sequels and people who are new to the series. So, those games are easier to come up with, and appeal to more ...
Why is everyone complaining about few of these games being new. I'd love to see one of you come up with an idea for an entirely new game. Go ahead, try.
NO! I bought that game because it was different than Mario Kart. If they make Mario Kart Transformed, I'll be mad.
@AsimLeonheart
How does a series being 30 years old make it less fun? I actually not a big fan of new IPs being made. Video games just aren't the same when there's no characters you care about in it.
Why does Pixar have to be the one to make the Earthbound movie? It could be made by Dreamworks, 20th Century Fox, Universal.
How would it be ruining it? It would just be a port of the original game? Why do people think the game is being ruined when their favorite game is ported to a console they don't like?
Yes, but you don't gain Gamepad use.
