This is why I'm not a big fan of new IPs. You don't know who any of the characters are so it's not interesting at all unless it's some new kind of gameplay.

This has got to be the worst article I have ever read in my entire life. Every problem listed can easily be fixed. All except the one about 3rd party support. 3rd party games probably outwiegh 1st party ones at the moment. 3rd party companies are making games for the console, doesn't that mean the console has 3rd party support? Yes.

I'd MUCH rather see a Mario movie. I know there already was one, and, although I did like it, I want to see one that can be considered canon.
What does milking even mean? Last time I checked, it meant going up to a cow and pulling on its udders. Video games don't have udders so they can't be milked.
I actually think making new IPs is worse. When it's a new IP, you don't care about any of the characters so you don't want to play it as much. That makes it not as fun.
