Third parties are being stubborn and want to ignore the Wii U just like the Wii; Nintendo will once again have to handle the burden of supplying games for the system.
If Valve can make something original and beneficial, I see them finding a good niche; maybe even more than that.
Great interview about Galaxies. Not very meaty, but great to see some more insight on SWG.
Of course they are. It's the same thing that happened with Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band. They just keep spamming these series every year until the audience is sick of it.
They get a lot of profit this way, but the brand becomes completely useless. Things that could last twenty years or more are beaten to the grown to extract every dollar from it.
Perfect Dark is technically better, but it's pointless since it wouldn't have existed without Goldeneye coming first.
That goes for Halo, Call of Duty, etc.
Yeah, this game was definitely the least good looking of the games shown on the awards.
Crazy how people throwing around the word "next-gen" can make people think they are seeing something that they're not.
It's funny that it uses Youtube as an example, since a lot of people scour Youtube for certain blockbuster movies that the content filter might have missed. They would unfortunately rather see it there despite the tiny and inconvenient screen than go to a movie theater.
It doesn't make it right, but it shows that mobile gaming's own allure is way too powerful.
It has some things that if it would have been more polished and better implemented, it would have been an improvement over Smash Bros.; but the game as a whole is not.
Wii U demos? Excellent!
I was expecting more from this game. Not sure why.
Yeah, which games we grow up with do decide our tastes later on. I wonder what today's kids that grow up with Call of Duty will think years down the road.
They should be better.
That is a pretty dramatic loss.
That is a very good question.
Skylanders to Black Ops 2: "Get on my level!"
Whether or not Sony HAS to do anything is still up in the air, especially with their tablet division being a total unmitigated disaster.
That sounds very nice. Bring some of that here, Nintendo.
I see nothing to complain about. GTA purists should be ignored.
The Wii had the best browser of all the game systems (not that there is much competition), and the 3DS had an even better one than those AND the Vita (again, not much of an achievement). The Wii U browser should be good as well.
I don't think it's fair to say the game is unpolished yet; the game isn't out yet, it's in the process of being polished right now.
