This story is so ridiculous and all the fanboys believe it and eat it up haha. I have a PS4 and love it but come on! You think Jack Tretton isn't given a PS4 or 10?
I may actually buy it again. It's that good.
Go into the sound and screen menu and go to your headset option. Now plug it all the way in and the option for the headset will be grayed out. Pull it out a bit and it works. I just went out and bought another controller. The same thing happens. The jack is a piece of garbage. You can now finally party chat on your playstation but the mic doesn't work! WTF???!!!
I'll tell you what is a real problem. The headphone jack is broken on all controllers. If you plug it in all the way, it doesn't work at all. You have to take it out a bit in order for it to work. How did this get past quality assurance? The controllers are basically all broken!
Yeah, it's so horrible to try to innovate and push things forward and make your console do more than just play games...those bastards.
I hate to have to point this out but if this was the HDMI port on the X1, everyone would be saying exactly what you're saying which is legiy. If this is happening on lots of consoles then it's a definite build quality issue. That being said, what I was focused on more was that the light looks way better when it's blue and I would like it to stay that way when it's on! It would be cool if you could change the color of the light in the system options.
It'd true though! We know the PS4 is more powerful but if you look at uncompressed 1080p video of both the X1 and PS4 versions of BF4, you can not see any difference! I actually have a big problem with this. I like watching 3D blu's and I was gonna put my PS3 in my room and use the Xbox One as my main blu ray player in the living room. Why would they not make it 3D capable? How hard can that be? I imagine they'll add it but I'm definitely annoyed at this news and for someone who has ben very indecisive about which pre-order to ultimately keep, everything matters.
It's amazing to me that more people don't seem to be blown away by this. They're delivering in a big way with this UI. I'm really impressed!

I played it last night at the Microsoft store. He's right. The screenshots and videos don't do the game justice. It's absolutely gorgeous and the trigger feedback is sick!

@boneso82 You obviously have no clue what you're talking about if you think the difference between 720p to 1080p is greater than the difference from SD to 720p. It doesn't matter if the # difference is greater. As resolution gets into higher territory, it's harder for the human eye to see the difference. At a certain point, there isn't as much payoff. I care about graphics a lot but the truth of the matter is that you can not see the difference between native and upscaled 1080p! At least not on the 1080p uncompressed BF4 footage that I watched on my 55 inch 1080p TV. If anything, I saw the X1 footage looking better at points but really, they were almost exact. If there was a big difference, I'd get a PS4 at launch instead. I'm no fanboy. I have no problems changing my mind if there is a good reason but there just isn't.

The difference between 960 and 1080 is so small. No one will see that difference. Besides that, it's still upscaled to 1080p. I have both consoles now and I'll get that on the X1 because I like the UI. controller and overall experience better on that console.
