in mortal kombat XI they'll charge you for moves.
wanna throw a spear or freeze or slide, you'll have to pay extra.
what you paying for on the disc is to have the characters in the game. how fun each character is or how fun the game is depends on how much you wanna spend.
the thing is i may not be missing anything, but why should i pay for something that could be unlocked with a code like it was in MK3?
easy fatalities are already on the disc i paid full price for so why am i allowed to use it only if i pay again?
to everyone saying this is ok, stop fooling yourself. its not. it can only be worse.
next thing you know, they charge you for moves that can be unlocked by playing the game. wanna throw a spear with scorpion or freeze with sub-zero, that'll be 5 bucks or you have to win 10 matches in a row on extremely dificult only using low punch and no block.
or it could be worse, they'll charge you for characters so how fun you want the game to be depends on ho...
its N4G...
random stealth disagrees are common around here.
no reason needed.

"Valve WILL make Half Life 3."
but will their fans live long enough to actually play the game?
thats the question.
personally i dont think much of Half-life. i always found it boring. never could get into it.
@bigpappy
funny how you never mispelled any other words except for AMD.
better get that selective dyslexia checked out.
i disagreed with you for being annoying and using the term ADM and not AMD as it should be. seen your comment history too, looks like you really think Advanced Micro Devices Inc. are ADM.
get it right...
Lovely lovely...this is news i like to hear.
it works both ways. you get sony loyalists bashing MS exclusives all the time as well or do you not notice that happening.
im not claiming its only sony who gets trashed, MS does as well. or have you not been on this site long enough to notice.
well one is an exclusive that people bashed to feel better about not having it, the other one they get to play.
its typical fanboy behaviour. dont tell me you in the industry and cant put this together yourself.
lol @ the media. retardness maxxed out.
if sony released uncharted on time and broken, they be like "what a disappointment. this supposed to be their biggest exclusive and its poor quality. sony dropped the ball. this is going to hurt em. sony doom and gloom."
sony delays it coz its a massive exclusive and want it to be the best it can be, the media is all, "how bad will this hurt sony. PS4 has no games, people are waiting for this. how can so...
im not promoting any form of piracy here but this is why jailbroken consoles are better than standard ones.
the dev community listen and work hard to give you features that the manufacturers refuse to or are unable to.
things like
Custom Backgrounds
Folders
CD/USB Media Copying
Backwards-Compatibility - for PS4 impossible, but modded PS3s eventually got this feautre.
DLNA Support
not to mention video...
@ciporta
with your logic, if you born in november 1980, in 1981 you're 2 years old. 1980, 1981.
i'd call you stupid but i dont insult the mentally challenged.
hey not every game is meant for everybody.
people need to accept that as fact.
i could never get into GTA and half life.
half life to me was just boring, and GTA was one of those play for 5 days, 2% progress. like wtf lol
i prefer this soundtrack

if iphones were more like the pc, Apple users wouldnt buy it.
game development now has changed dramatically since the 80s/90s but reviewing games hasn't changed at all.
see, in the 80s/90s once a game was released, that was it. if it was buggy and had flaws, you were stuck with them for life. so reviewing that final product made sense to point out all errors/flaws and knock points off.
these days, the "final" product you buy and the product you play 6 months later with added features/graphics/gameplay ch...
actually they can have it open world and closed world at the same time. Need for speed: most wanted (2005) did it perfectly well.
1) open world, you can either look at your map and drive to the events yourself.
2) closed world, you could jump to the blacklist menu and select the events from there.
if they did it that way you get best of both. but i agree with you, i wouldnt want an open world game.
