Demon Souls went from hard to easy with SC. Not to mention Faith's HP regen stacking made it almost casual. 99 of every grass easy easy to get. Not saying Demon Souls was never hard, I was stuck on the first lvl for a week. And have 1000+ hours on both. Just saying it became easier.
Sanctus, Effigy, Blood, and Black Iron I believe were the previous winners.
My best friend thinks the same way you do. I myself am a gameplay over plot guy. Doesn't matter how good the plot is, if the gameplay feels like a chore or is simply boring, theres no way I can finish it.
But even he agreed gameplay will always be more important. Simply because its easier to find games with poop story but still fun as balls to play for hours than a good story worth putting up with possibly the worst gameplay ever.
How is a touch making things easy? You can't block effectively and see well in dark areas. It actually makes things harder since switching it out puts the flam out.
Go to tomb of giants and try blocking with the skull lantern to see what I mean.
And yes I know theres other light sources just do it this way to see how it feels.
Only problem I had with the game was the combat. Felt over passed and dumbed down from the first 2. No need for planning, no need to choose gear careful, no need gun upgrades or vigor upgrades careful. No need for a lot of things other than run and gun. Dare I say? Casualized?

Actually they said it was just improved. The ones who hyped the graphics was the Edge magazine article, which then it all spread around.
And as far as graphics fo, maybe its not top of the line but you can notice the change in the details. Thats prob what they meant.

Story is nice and environment is fun. But its way to short compared to the first 2 as well as gameplay depths has lost meaning. Everything is upgraded by money and gear can be switched at any time. Not to mention the whole shields bullshit, made med kits loose meaning if you have a regenerating bar of health. Gun lost the cool upgrades from before. They had cool effect and change how it looked visually, not anymore.
Not really? Pearlscent are the perfect complement to a lvl cap increase. Plus they were originally a dlc weapons in BL1 as well. I see no reason the add them to post lunch version of game.
Now if only they balanced Maya out a bit for phaselocked immune enemies don't just out right cancel and make 7+ of her skills meaningless.
I actually like B1 the most, and B2 more than this one. Mostly for gameplay accepts. This is way too easy and casualized compared to the rest.
At least add a few second cooldown to Elizabeth's powers. And the whole changing equipment mid fight? Really? Not too mention weapon and power upgrades are all money based. Adam made choosing which powers to upgrade important. Weapon upgrades are shallow now, more damage, less recoil blah blah blah. Before they had kick ass effects...

Look I loved the inFamous series more than most of you. I got collector edition as well as purchased the comic books and several products. I guess you could say I am a fanboy.
But as much as I love it, the game can simply no longer continue with the endings it has. Ether it starts with good or bad ending, and ether one would ruin the games moral choice system in place.

And forcing inFamous 3 to start from good or bad ending will out right kill the games moral system it has in place. Start with a pre made good or bad Cole. And Beast Cole would just have to be nerfed in a similar way like in inFamous 2 powers zapped by the Beast. If that happened twice people would call bullshit.
Because we have 2 totally different endings. Sure Cole could survive but all other conduits are dead. In bad end he is literally OP with an army of conduits.

I know its a console war fanboy rumer. But considering 360 is weaker then PS3, and Sony is willing to take risks while M$ rather play it safe, doesn't really make me believe next M4 gen will be any better.
In fact. I think M4 wants to release their next console at the same time as Sony's. I don't think they want to risk a weaker system for earlier sales again.
