BECAUSE ITS THE FRIGGIN HEADLINE. IDC ABOUT THE REST OF THE ARTICLE AND NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE! You set a negative done, IN CAPS, just like I DID, nobody cares to read the REST. It doesn't need to change DRAMATICALLY from Destiny 1 to please fans, NOBODY WHO IS A D1 FAN ASKED FOR THAT CHANGE. The flaws from the first game POSITIONED BY FANS *drumroll* WERE ADDRESSED BY BUNGIE FULLY. CoD isn't even a franchise anymore, and its not even in the same category of game, and is comparing a...

I hate to break this to you, but I think this guy is way, way, way, out of tune with what the audience wanted from Destiny 2. For starters, nobody wanted The Witcher / Mass Effect / Elder Scrolls or any RPG inspired game. They wanted an open world shooter. What's the difference between a shooter with RPG elements and an MMO or RPG? Well, that's where you're gonna have to go back and read a few books on in game design. Next, then go check out Reddit and the 400,000 players gushing ...
EA BioWare are a bunch of copout quitters. If Bungie can stand back up, if Blizzard can stand back up, if Ubisoft can stand back up, then so should they. Instead they are crying failure and quitting. Since they are quitting on the series I'm quitting on all of their IP from here out. Forget Anthem, forget Star Wars Shooters, forget Dragon Age anything, forget BioWare for the rest of eternity. They are dead to me.
This is a badly written opinion piece. He is totally ignoring the reality coming at him. 30FPS AT 4K LOOKS FLAWLESS! I realize I'm in the minority with that setup but yeah. There is more content coming in PVE than PVP and I wish people would tune into IGN for that coverage.
The beta, in Bungie's terminology, is just a taste of the game. It isn't ANYWHERE NEAR the entire game. If your definition of beta isn't matching Bungie's that's ok - you don't know Bungie then. The entire game will be playable at launch. Period. End of story. They are looking to surprise and delight people. YOU CAN'T SURPRISE AND DELIGHT WHEN YOU'VE SHOWN YOUR ENTIRE GAME OFF.
The number of facts in your statement is literally 0. The server tick rate has nothing to do with stability. The physics for the game is entirely server side now. The game is at 30FPS locked and is smooth. In D1 there were dips below 30FPS. In D2, this won't happen. It is an uncapped frame rate on PC as well. They have purposefully held back ALL OPEN WORLD exploration to not have haters like you come out of the wood work and spoil it. It will offer much more content than D1, and as a poin...
To Mikey: I do play ESO and yes everyone craft's the same gear for a build. It's silly that you think there are special snowflakes. There are a few sets and you endlessly grind for those sets for your class / spec. I also play WoW and guess what...GASP...EVERYONE SHOOTS FOR THE SAME TIER GEAR OH MY! The same is true in Destiny, and WoW is a much more successful MMO than either the Dorkvision or ESO. I love ESO but if you think hundreds of skill points, crap damage, and lunatic builds ...
You don't even KNOW how loot is working in Destiny 2. They have ENTIRELY REWORKED IT. You're no longer chasing rolls, you CRAFT your gear. YES it is an RPG bc it has LEVELING systems in place, a gear curve, different builds, you assume the role of a Guardian, and HAVE MULTIPLE CHARACTER SPECS! WAKE UP.
Simple. You just took a lazy headass approach to reality. Like seriously, you can't even back up your assertion on what is and isn't different between D1 and D2. When it releases you'll reluctantly buy it because half the fucking Earth knows its a good game, and will have hundreds of hours of replayability.
One point: Orbis OS, which is BSD, is the PS4 Operating System. This is a cousin of Linux, and does not need to be defragmented because it is using either UFS or ZFS. Each filesystem is unaffected by fragmentation for the most part. The only situation in which fragmentation can become somewhat problematic for either filesystem is if your disk space is EXTREMELY full, like less than 1GB of storage remaining. Barring this, there should be no reason f...

This article is a ton of hot garbage. I have co-workers in the IT business that have worked at Sony's PS4 repair factory before. The only reason to do a rebuild of your PS4 database is if you are having problems with running many titles. If not, then don't do this. Examine the top comment of the person who did this in the article: he was forced to redownload many game updates, and had other issues costing him a lot of bandwidth.

ONE HUNNERED NAZI SCALPS SOLDIER
Too young to be dying that early...my heart goes out to his family and friends. RIP man.

Listening to this is like listening to yesterday's old garbage. Not only that they have their classic horrible BioWare writing on display.

Again, not true at all, as the ZFS and UFS do not need to be defragmented. THESE ARE FACTS OF THE BSD OPERATING SYSTEM!!
Since nobody is looking!!
