I play shooters constantly, the PS4 sticks do NOT wear off, and the DS4 is just as good for shooters as the X1's.
It's a matter of small preference for the stick layout, stop spreading BS.
I personally prefer Symmetrical controllers for most games ( not Halo ).

Indie games will become bigger as Engines get better at making games easier.
Soon Games like Uncharted will be made by indie teams, interesting times are ahead.
I've been playing the FF series lately ( first time for most) and I've got to say it makes new RPG's look bad.

I only put 8 hours into the Alpha, but I missed a day and a half and had plans with the family. I think the real game will easily get 100+ from me.

If the Alpha was any indication ( it was old code even ) then this game is going to be fantastic.
When I played the alpha the maps felt empty. 6 vs 6 is Not enough.

Yes there are similarities but the games from Kings to Demons are immensely different. Sure they have some slight similarities but the differences are far greater then the similarities.
By your logic we should also credit armored core for the lineage to Demons/Dark.

The disturbing amount of people lieing here is scary.
Overall though I'd say the X-one controller made some awesome improvements, it feels more like the X-box S controller which is super awesome and the new vibration is sweet, my only complaint is the bumpers.
As for it in comparison to the DS4, both are fantastic controllers, both have pretty much no drawbacks and are dang sturdy. People on here are spreading lies about both so ignore them.
