I hope you guys realize that a 1500$ pc in 2 years will be about 650$ and that the ps4 will still be around 400$ and that buying games on console it so much more expensive then the pc counter part.
People don't get the point.
The point was not that a 1000$ gpu can beat a 500$ system. The point was that before, console was competing in raw power with pcs at the time of release. Now they are not even out yet and yet don't even compete with current tech (3 times lower) and there is 6-8 years to go before we get new hardware.
Games we will see popping out this gen would of been possible years ago and this is sad.
Nvidia showed better lightning, textures and actually have an environment. Animation where better too. Dunnno why people say otherwise.

Of course, they use old hardware. Sure dev can tweak and optimise, show a bit of magic tricks to make the game looks better. They will do that the whole generation, they don't have a choice. In the end we end up with sub 720p games that barely run at 30 fps, not sure if that's what yuo call a "great experience".

Hackers can be booted from server by admins, on console you can't deal with it (try play cod 4-mw2 on consoles nowadays)
Drivers nowadays are so easy to pick up and instal it's a stupid argument
