Pfft... Mass Effect 2 is only 10 hours long now is it?
Its a good size for a game. If you do everything and dont power rush, its well over 30 hours.
Hell even if you power rush and do everything itd be 20-25 hours anyway.
Its the type of game like any WRPG which you pace yourself at your own level.
Good thing about this is no supernatural crap. That was definitely the weakness of fahrenheit. It needed to work more on its strengths which was emotion.
I Fully expect to love this game but quantic dream are french devs, and this is a french review site.
Everyone knows the french are always a bit biased.
I guess you could consider it short..
If you skip every mission for everyone of your crew. Then again, Oblvions story was short (a 12 hour experience) but that was in the end a 150 hour game.

nice read man. Although I dont fully agree with it (I do think its one of the better games this gen, its good to see people on this site still analyze games properly instead of just "LOLZ XBOX 3SHITTY GAME MUST BE CRAP".
I do think its very much more of a TPS then RPG. ME1 had much more rpg elements. I cant wait for the hammerhead dlc so i can go exploring again.

And bare in mind, Mass effect 2 is more of a TPS then an RPG. I just dont get your reasoning. Why dont you recommend a decent 360 JRPG instead? Much more comparable to FF13.

@ saaking. You cant only use that little agenda of yours for the 360 version. The PC version is on 2 discs too, I guess by your theory pc is starting to show its age too....

No offense but Dragon Age was a game which was made for PC, and subsequently ported to consoles. Its control layout and tactics only have a lasting effect on PC and were by far and between superior.
Its different in that the experience would be largely the same on both systems for Mass effect apart from the graphics. You only need to read the reviews.
Forget EA, they had nothing to do with this title.

Jeuxvideo have always been notoriously harsh. I remember when they released their early review for GTA 4 and gave it around the same score and people were up in arms.
