Ive played MAG for more than an hour and still hated it.
Battlefield is superior in almost every way apart from having less players (but 256 is overkill anyway).

The only thing which would be compensated is graphics and maybe some compressed sound.
Gameplay makes games not the graphics, and you can get great games on any system. Gameplay is not gonna be gimped because of minor edge in processing power and larger disc space.
