Nah thats some straight cheese brother-man, the industry has been flooded with giant open world games that take obscene legnths of time to complete and often feel like their so dragged out. RDR2 is the perfect example, because while it was painstakingly crafted to have insane amounts of beauty and detail, the story is just unnecessarily long, not to mention all of the time that you are horsing around from one mission objective to another. Honestly changes ought to be made to this game. In 20 years the core gameplay hasn't changed. Not only that but the battles still look like their on a 3ds, why do the battles scenes in Pokemon battle revolution look better??
Honestly if you think this game's story isnt a cluster f*** of random nonsense then I salute you.
i mean not to bash the many die hard fans but the game is averaging an 88% on metacritic right now, you can cry all you want but
a) none of you have played it and
b) most people are giving it a similar grade so you wanna go upend every review of this game? probably not!
youre all seriously afraid of them stepping outside of the box on this? why not let them flex their creative powers, this game looks really interesting!
What people don't understand though is the concept of optimization. People seeing better stats for a computer than a Playstation or Xbox often leave this concept out. Its a lot easier to get full optimization of the hardware when you're developing software for that specific hardware, rather than for a broad range of hardware. There's a reason a lot of exclusive titles are some of the best looking games out there (GOW, LOU2).
