Rival in what regard???Power,customization,u pgrades,library,no limits,mods,performance???Just sad seeing articles about this.Will a fiat be faster than a Ferrari,or a turtle faster than a horse???No.Just because a developer,who cant optimize a game for 2 years and produces an average game says something stupid,dont give him any attention.A 900$ includes easily a gtx 1070 and a i7,incredibly faster than what a console can offer now.
At 1080p,30 fps?To rival the pc,give me a 1000-1200$ console with a oc i7,gtx 1080 and 32 gb ram.Uncharted 4 just looks better than the average console game,so worse than hundreds of modern pc games.

Personally,i wont ever buy a console.I don't want to be limited by restrictions set by others,30 fps,low power,no features,no mods,very small library,and more importantly,no money making.I don't agree with any point of the two the author made,and his reasoning seems quite poor and illogical.Some people just cant handle,or aren't capable or competent enough for some things.
Tons of motion blur,very slow turning(controller),compared to mouse.
1440p has been the standard since early 2013.51 out of 65 pc gamers i know,me included,run 4k/60 fps ulta+reshade or 5k downsampled,medium-high settings+GemFx.
For 2017,4k 60fps high-ultra settings/smaa or 5k/60 fps downsampled/medium settings/high textures/no aa.
i have played this i think over a year ago???The articles title is hilarious though!!!Dosent anyone check him to make sure he dosenr write stupid stuff???Outstanding performance=120 fps as minimum at 144hz.All the known pc arpd are better,especially POE,torchlight and grim dawn.Also,99% of pc gamers have lost all respect to Diablo III since the beginning.

My sli asus strix 1080s can do this too+reshade,quite easily actually.Its a very well optimized game.

The good for me is that they return their cost,by working on my pc,in 1 month.So cost isn't a problem to me. Also,with past driver problems and bad performance in nvidia centered games,i wont support amd.
