If this holds true, I'll admit that I'd buy it. I've tried one of these games, maybe 13-2?(shows exactly how memorable it was for me). I never came close to finishing it.
Never the less, I'm an RPG fan and for several years we've seen less and less story driven RPG's. I do love open world RPG's, but I'm starting to miss the story heavy variety I enjoyed in my youth on ps1 and ps2.
Me too! A lot of people didn't like VIII too much, I loved it though. Id be super psyched if they remade it.
How is watchdogs even relevant to E3? E3 is about the future, not last month or 2012. If the best we have to look forward to is a game released last month then feel free to consider me an ex-gamer
Who cares about E3 from 2 years ago? Did they just get around to airing it your part of the world?
@GameNameFame, if devs havent had the time and tools to fully utilize the additional power on the PS4, it seems only logical that the same circumstances apply to the Xbone. Over time, devs will learn to utilize the hardware of both platforms for better results. Of course theres a power gap, but given that the hardware on both system is static, I'm curious how you can conclude that the gap will likely get bigger?
bahahaha
dumb question, but whats MW2?
On another note, I'd also add Ni No Kuni, VC, and LO too. Those were awesome games! I agree with some of the list, but most of them are all open world games. Im surprised there was no mention of the Tales series, Star Ocean, or other more "classic" RPGS
Seriously? Milking gamers like this is getting out of hand, something has got to give. We are months off from a release and a DLC is already announced? That means that everything is already complete and should be sold as such, instead the game is being piecemealed out to us. What a fucking scam.
I wish they would just give a release date already. I've seen June, August, and now "Fall". I'm hoping the june specualted date is correct. It would be nice to have good game to fill these summer drought months.
I'll be checking this one out for my rpg fix
I'm sorry dude, I have both systems and love them both, but there is no denying that the ps4's is ahead of the xbone in the visuals department.
"I HAD high hopes for this one to end up being a sleeper hit"
No contradiction, he was hoping it was going to be a great game despite, for the most part, flying under the radar. Turned out to be a dud.
jnemesh, you're absolutley right, no doubt there are great games available on PS4. I should have been clearer in my statement. I know a lot of people love the indie games but, I personally didnt purchase a ps4 (and Xbone for that matter) to play 2.5d side scrollers, pinball, etc. When I purchased each system at launch, I did so for games such as driveclub, mad max,the division, the order, etc. I know these will come in due time. All I was eluding to was that Watchdogs possibly sold so wel...
I agree, Im sure its a good game, but a lot of people (including myself) are clamoring for something to play on our new consoles
Oh please, please, pleeease let this be true
Has there been any word on a US release?
@bennissimo, I never could get into the Uncharted multiplayer either but, I wouldnt say ND multiplayer experiences are boring. Personally, I thought multiplayer on The Last of Us was fun as hell
ND has come a long way since Crash Bandicoot. Very excited for this game, I'm sure it'll be amazing!
This is good news, I'm feeling a little bit better now after hearing that it was cross plat.
I've never played a Witcher game, so forgive me if this sounds stupid but, I dont understand how the game can be linear when theres a huge open world aspect to it. Am I missing something? From what I've read and seen in the trailer, I'm pretty excited for this game. The mounted combat looks awesome!
