We all know NEO is not competing against Scorpio, that's common sense. NEO is releasing even almost more than a year earlier than Scorpio. How can they even be competing? They are not. PS5 will do that.
NEO is like when Apple make an iPhone X and then they release the same iPhone but with a Premium like the IPhone XS.
These products are good to refresh the offering and continue to dominate the market while it is an obvious guess that Sony will release a next gen console PS5 to compete against Microsoft next gen console if, and this is a big if, there is even a threat on the market dominance with I doubt.
And some people were celebrating because they though they wouldn't need a PS4 anymore to play PS4 exclusives on PC 😁. They thought it was the same as Microsoft did where you don't really need an Xbox anymore.
This people should have payed attention before celebrating in vain.

There is a clear difference that must be pointed out here.
With PS Now service, you can only play games from the PS3, PS2 and PS1 library. If you want to play PS4 games, you need a PS4 console.
With Microsoft, all their Xbox exclusives games going forward are available to play on the windows store so you don't need and Xbox anymore.
