If Sony is giving a powerful console as the PS4 Pro at $400 with networking services such as PSN, PS Now, PS Vue, PS ➕, then they cannot pretend to sell the NX that has non of those services or even gets close to that power for the same price.
They need to make it $249.00 for people to try it and give it a second chance after the massive flop that the Wii U was
I don't get what is the drama here. If a game is under development, and in its progress they see that they need more time to deliver a stable experience, then they need more time.

If a game is released unfinished, there is a drama, if the game then gets delayed in order to work on those issues, there is a drama.
The success of NX lies in the hands of Nintendo, how they present it, what it is, what games and third party support.
They are not competing on the console market with Playstation or Xbox. They are targeting the family friendly, casual and kids market with their handheld strategy.

No matter who sell more, is still a PS4. Sony is giving an option for the regular market, which is still more powerful than the Xbox one s, and an option for the high end pro market.
I doubt Nintendo will have a consistent and serious line up for the NX and with the rumors that it is a hybrid handheld with last generation graphics, it is more doubtful they will have the third party support needed to cover their sparse line up.
Nintendo is doing the same and waiting to get different results. That's not gonna happen.
