I honestly don't understand how they go so far as to legitimately make a casual game competitive. It doesn't even make sense. You can't be casually competitive. It's one or the other lol.
Who ever wrote this article most likely doesn't understand hardware nor the development process. Therefor he/she would be ignorant to the matter and provided redundant information due to personal feelings. If such is the case.

I doubt he means dying as in it's ceasing to exist. He most likely means it's dying in the sense of it's becoming less and less about the games and more about the money that's made. Therefore gaming would be dying and profit would be the basis of it.

What speed runs are you watching to make you feel that way? Aside from that Speed runs (I'm talking 100%+ Completion ones not any%) are done because it's interesting to and or see how people beat a game extremely fast while completing every significant thing in the game. Perfected pathing and movements along with abundant knowledge of the game and it's inner workings are needed. I respect speed runners because they don't just play the games they speed run, they literally KNOW ...

lmao. no. It's an "okay" game. All it has going for it is: smooth controls, pretty visuals, and a good soundtrack. Other than that... nothing worth mentioning as good.
