At the end of the day this game is good and deserve these sales for continuing to support it's title. Yea it's a copy of cod4 but that's not a bad thing.
I love uncharted and think MP is very good but to call it mindblowing is a lil too much.
True. Dead space and mirrors edge were great games but didn't do so well. I think it's gonna take a smash hit for them to return to profibility any time soon. Digital downloads and those methods entioned will take a long time to give them a return, but then again I could be wrong.
I cannot wait to see the day motion control period fails. I do not mean to be so blunt but that's my honest opinion. However, I do not care if they exist as long as they don't interfere with the traditional control. Good read and again this is just my opinion.
Now I can buy all the games my cheap ass motherfu*#ing parents didn't get me when I had the ps1 back then. All I had was Crash,GT, theme park(wtf) and some games I don't remember. Also now have another reason to get the psp go if they continually release ps1 titles.
Video games, violent or not, only hurt your wallet and **sometimes** your social life. In extreme cases violence may occur when you are playing video games and someone takes your wallet. That is the only correlation I see.
Obviously it's become enough of a concern that a petition has been started and has reached those numbers. If those people feel wronged by valve then they have every right to do something about it. Also there may be a sense of entitlement going on(??) But so what, sometimes developers/companies need to know that they can't just be jerking around consumers.
I will probably be buying both but I also don't understand why they would release MAG soon after COD MW2. The least SONY could do is advertise the hell out of it so I don't go online and find myself playing with he same people over and over again.

Maybe they are also testing the waters for a ps3 price cut. If the economy is good enough that people are buying the go they will make money and will start considering a price cut or a bundle for the ps3 and if the economy isn't then they will know that a price cut for the ps3 will have to wait. Like someone said, the go can't be that expensive to make if it's specs are almost like the 3000.

My theory is that sony is waiting for the economy to get better, especially in NA. I mean while their sales aren't the greatest there they are still around 360's number annnd at a higher price poiny. If they want to outsell x360 it would make sense for them to cut the price when the economy is back on it's feet. Know what I'm saying?
If only more developers thought like this.(Square-Enix)
Damn, so many good psp games coming out this year. More rpgs on it would be nice but so far so good. Anyways,I'm convinced and copping one soon.

Of course not, sales do not equal quality but those games i've mentioned have both sales and critical acclaim, just like celine dion. Celine Dion is the Halo of music. (j/k)
I also just wanted to add that quality in a game is about fun at the end of the day and while I have never played HALO I always hear about how fun it is and that's where it should be judged by and get it's quality badge.
Regardless, sales or quality, it is still successful. Quality is debatable but sales speak for themselves.
Insomniac are very talented devs and appreciate their games very much BUT their games have not reached the kind of success MGS or Halo has. However its not fair of me to just insomniac as an example b/c they've had R&c for a while now.
Sometimes developers just need to stick with what they know best. Halo, Gran Turismo, Metal gear Solid are a few franchises where the team wants to focus on their best IP. While resistance and Ratchet and clank are very enjoyable games, they are not near the caliber of those games I've mentioned and they come from a team who try to dabble in different genres.
