I used to have that 20MB connection from 'Virgin Media', we just got upgraded before we moved house,because we were so close to the exchange, it was more like 26MB.

You clearly don't know anything. The 360's graphics card runs circles around PS3's. But then, that doesn't matter, I guess the PS3 doesn't need a decent graphics card to play Blu-ray movies.
Power Gamer isn't too bad, you can get level 50 in first playthrough (30-40hours). 51-60 however, is a whore :p
But all in all it's a terrible list, I think i'd prefer an all-exclusives list.

Mass Effect was a good decision for GOTY, nice call by TeamXbox.
While we had so many good hits this year, it has that little bit extra that makes it my favourite.
I have Bioshock on 360 and I've played it on PC.
Probably the WORST game I bought all year. Repetitive tasks, combat and story. Not to mention how short it is, all it had going for it was the graphics.
The only titles there that was pegged to be AAA was Lair and maybe Two Worlds.
I can't speak for Vampire Rain, but I didn't think Bullet Witch was that bad.
Certainly not as bad as Two Worlds, I thought it was quite fun, maybe not as much playability as most games, but still fun.

Pretty disappointed with these. Sure it looks better than Halo 3, but since when has Halo been about graphics? The first two certainly weren't.
These screenshots pale in comparison to most 360 games that are out and in development, such as Gears, Fable 2, Mass effect, Lost Odyssey, Rainbow6vegas.

ichimaru, I bought a core 360 2 years ago, I've been playing Live that long too.
What was your point in saying that people own Core/Arcade units? They can still play online, just means that the Core owners need to buy a hard drive or memory card.
I find it a lot more likely that 360 has more CoD4 players online, based on number of games sold and number of registered users on the online services (PSN/Live)
