actually am not comparing my point is, playing alot of PC games on high end rig makes you see how they make their tricks while programing to make the game look better, for example in Crysis they use 2d leafs to give 3rd visuals which is one of those tricks.

what i want to say is gears is FULL of those so to the normal eye it's amazing to someone who knows better they see alot of flaws which is why gears shouldn't be given this award then again i guess the person who decided this ...

i don't know maybe i play alot of sh!t on a high end pc... according to what i see on THAT gears graphics SUCK balls.

they simply very smart at programing but they gave alot of shady and blurry details for alot of space which makes them good programmers using the facility they have but best graphics GTFO!

i would give best graphics -if i had to only pic between those two- Prince of Persia and not Gears although i played price like 10 hours and gears for 100+

and that's the sole reason why they installed a blu-ray drive in the PS3 because they want to PUSH the new format NOT because of gaming.

it improves the over all quality of MOVIES over DVD by ALOT hell without it people would never hear about DTS-HD or TrueHD sound and DVD can't do that because stopping a movie to replace a disk is not really popular but with gaming i stop whenever i feel like it so switching a dvd is not really a big deal.

the only think blue ray does for me is make me watch blue ray movies PERIOD!

what a developer can do with 1 blue-ray disk they also can do it with 1-99999 DVDs no BODY cares -except you dear fanboys-.

screen tears are what is caused by the TV your imaginary friend is having not the game. the game has different issues texture pop ups and lag. and it's not really as bad as they make it sound in other reviews.
