The fact that M$ uses billions in advertising and had to pay billions for RRoDs and then some billions for Kinect oh and not to mention the millions for exlusive DLC that didn't help them in any way what so ever. Sony relies on word of mouth and everyone KNOWS that a Sony product is reliable. Microsoft the (in)famous creators of the;

MGS3 just did it for me.. I still prefer it over MGS4, played it over constantly and never got bored of it. There were different paths you could find and I even rebought it for MGS3 Substance for online play which made it even better

I haven't bought a Call of Duty game since Call of Duty 4 and don't plan on buying any more. This Black Ops one looks too washed out and plain for my taste. I'll wait for Killzone 3.
the average console gamer can't afford a PC that's good enough to run Crysis so why would they wanna watch videos of it. My PC that I bought this year can run all games to date with max settings and x4 AA to say the least.
I'm a big PS Fanboy but don't get me wrong, motion gaming fails in general and Kinect just LOOKS way worse then PS Move because;
1. It aint got games and
2. If it does got games most of them are gonna be on rails, which frankly is LAME
I played with the Wii several times, sure its fun for several games like Zelda and the Mario series but that's about it and it gets old quick
By limiting the units they create hype. Which is a known market strategy used by all companies. So yeah, meh.
I'm Canadian and we use European dialect and Americans use their own but they think their own is *ALWAYS* right. Heh.

Man ... How I wish there were amazing RPGs this gen. I still have Final Fantasy 2 and 3 for SNES with manuals and what not all the way up to FF 13(besides the online/portable versions of FF)
I found white knight chronicle o-k nothing too godlike but amazingly better then FF13

Getting a Japanese company to support an American one. I'm quite sure they would much rather support their Japanese partner.

The power of Halo
they do compromise gameplay and stability when they are multiplatforms for big games like RPGs/Action games and what not.
When a game exclusive it means a developer can cater to one console and focus on using the technology to it's fullest but with multiplatform that just isn't possible.
It would be like trying to port FF7 to dreamcast it could work but quality would be compromised dearly.
This is all part of Micro$ofts plan. They get more media this way and more people get hyped if they see that it is "sold out" because they get the idea that Kinect is good.
