sigh...they essentially are porting a 5 year old game to low end PCs. it's a miracle anything worked on ps3 with its half a gig of ram(in a scale that bethesda enjoys). Both have 8 gigs with deferring speed, and also mimic PC architecture. as far as handling the mods they almost certainly could.
There is a simple reason I try not to talk to PC gamers. They seem to be lost in their own world and assume anyone attacking ports must be a filthy console peasant.
I get where you are coming from no disrespect, but they aren't really doing anything of note that mods haven't done already. Being free on pc is fine and actually a nice gesture, but to charge full price to console gamers who either have no other option or don't know better it is a bit slimy. Ugh all the hate on this game going off this articles comment section alone...Yeah it's an indie game made by a small team, and is charged at full price. It deserves it unlike AAA games with a linear story of 8-12 hours at most if you are lucky and a team that overshadows this dev by ten fold. Titles, rank, prestige mean nothing if the developer stops caring. AAA titles have been as of late mostly remakes of things that worked in the past. I see so many people complaining about everything...
The fact that they have yet to lie or show fake footage of their game, and freely show live in game footage tells me they not only have confidence in their product, but a bit of pride in what they made. I can see why they want to keep some of the deeper details secret, not because it is shallow and awful, but because the genuinely want to have their fans be surprised at every step. It's a refreshing step from "lets make a flashy trailer and then move on"
Gotta give sean and his whole team a lot of credit for being so open with the community. Too many devs just don't care about the fans experience anymore and just want to cash in. Hate the game or not they seem like a good team.

What the game really needs is a third expansion since this game has only gotten 1 real one so far, and nuka world has yet to release.
Honestly anything is better than the click bait monstrosities as of late
Its not that they took out the tracker its that they also completely removed any way to even see where hot spots might be. Poke stop clusters don't always equal a lot of pokemon. It's much nicer to have a general idea where to look first.
