Most people buy epic space RPGs that are based on a deep story not for the hilarious slap stick comedy of krogans phasing through people, but the overall experience and immersion.

Well you can't have them in unless is a joke or satire really, because real trans people strive to be the sex they want to be. So in theory you wouldn't even know they were unless they told you in confidence or you just found out through background stuff. All of which no game seems to do right now.
Why even have them in the first place? Some easter eggs like uncovering background info that says they are wpuld be neat, but blatantly forcing it as part of the story is just stupid.
