Love my ps4. Its certainly not perfect and I could list 30 reasons why it's not, but it's the best around right now. Even my pc gets neglected because I prefere it.

Epic time for gaming. The ps4 has been amazing for years and the switch might become just as explosive with its own plethora of Nintendo branded games finally realized on a console stronger than a handheld. Also co existing instead of some petty rivalry.

It was a planned trilogy instead of a proper mmo build. They set out from the start to milk new game sales instead of free game updates like others do
Probably the rumors came about from their rachet and clank remake. Which was super short and cut a lot of content from the original. Has 0 bearing on this though
the switch taking over Nintendo sales was cemented when the pokemon company decided ultra was the last game to grace the 3ds. Pokemon is the big game, and I honestly see playstation and the switch coexisting. Might be a fun future as long as neither get complacent.
