Tokyo Beat Down from Atlus? Rhythm Heaven?
I'd REALLY love to hear from the developer - or from Apple directly - why this game took over a month to be approved. Are they that shy with games of a political nature, even if it's humorous?
Now THIS is the kind of videogame writing I dig.
#1: Written by a woman. Bonus points :-)
#2: Totally opened my eyes to a performance I never knew existed.
And dear lord, that's an impressive list of games...
Thanks!
Drawing any kind of parallel to Chu Chu Rocket is like opening my wallet and saying "here ya go, have it all!"
I'm afraid to read this review...lol
i am terribly afraid to read this...
Hey, Sony's exclusives are few and far between. Let them have this one :-)
It's interesting...I work in game retail and have overheard not only my employees, but also other customers IMMEDIATELY recommend Sony's slugger over MLB 2K9 every.single.time.
Terrific review, and it's backed up in the real world...
Don't forget the beating of dead horses!
"If the horse is dead, there's no harm in beating it some more."
"NO, don't skip THAT story - I actually have something intelligent to say about it."
"Who in the bloody hell did they have to hump to get Square-Enix to sign off on that deal?"
"My unique perspective is...I don't give a sh!t!"
Great review - but I could never get into turn-based strategy like Fire Emblem. I love me some real time RPG though.
WOW, this author is bold, semi-bashing Tri-Ace/Square in the 1st paragraph. Props.
Hey, it's an entertaining read, right? Mission accomplished.
And Gamecock? They don't have a bad logo, but their name sure is unfortunate.
Celebrity makes videogame=build in sales & audience.
This man is brilliant.
Wait...what happened?
Anyone know if Rock Band drums will work on GH: Metallica?
Heh. For me? Approximately 121 hours...according to my Dreamcast VMU.
Totally original title, localized for north america. In pure Atlus style.
So, you're saying that SP:DM on PSP should be as good an FPS as R:R?
My head 'asplode with initials.
They don't even have GTA's Liberty City, which IS one of the best selling PSP games to date - goes to show how massive the install base is for the DS.
1st: This is freaking awesome, and it's refreshing to see more efforts to preserve video game history.
2nd: Not to steal GamesAreEvil's thunder (the article is well worth reading) but after you're done, check out the newest episode of A Life Well Wasted (www.alifewellwasted.com) which is all about retro gaming, and the people obsessed with it.
Wellll, those promo images are just the backgrounds. Gameplay wise, nothing like Patapon.
Go listen :-)
Actually, it sounds like two knives were the cause? ;-)
