innovative and quality games is the point of the article, and yes there haven't been much in the fighting genre since the 90's agreed 3.1
The article also implies that the genre is stale so maybe dead in terms of where fighting games used to be and the fact they haven't been improved much over the years with the exception of graphics
how many times is the exact same article going to be written? You could make a book already from "journalists" who have already written about this. as long as their are PCs there will be pc gaming...nuff said.

I think we will eventually get to the point where nudity is acceptable in video games. Games are in a constant fight to be viewed as valid forms of art and right now the public really still sees them as only for kids. What is mind boggling is that the average age of gamers is 33 years old via ESA research. This article posted a bunch of facts about real gamers a few days ago on here.
