Agree, I am at core a hardcore PC gamers but I follow the games so I own a PS4 and a Switch all because of exclusives.
I don't think there is a ton of hype. I feel like people just want upgraded hardware that can do 4k/60 FPS or more and all the specs so far seem to surpass that. So if that's hype I guess I already bought into it.

The problem with buying a lot of these titles is they don't tie in the talent that makes these games and they get their money and leave.
I enjoyed it for what it is at the time...I only invested 14.99 to play the game and put 60 plus hours into it. I am sure I will revisit it in the future if they really do some serious changes.

It's not broken. They hit the reset switch on the Pokémon and people are upset. The game will 100 percent get more Pokémon added over time. Nintendo knows they can make a bunch more money with just DLC.

Yup, we are if they show too polished gameplay just to show what they want the game to be people cry that of the downgrade later on. If they show unpolished gameplay like the Avengers gameplay they would call it a mess and say doom and gloom.

Step one when writing an article make sure you get your facts in order. UPLAY + is not a streaming service.
Streaming services will be what the majority of gamers use in the future. Internet infrastructure is mostly holding it back and I would wager Intel is working on specific server boxes built around streaming games.
Which is true. Even if someone makes a better Store front people will only buy games on Steam or from GOG only. Not saying Epic is a better storefront but if they ever did it could not compete with out exclusives.
