I cannot stand people like you, with this 'screw the classics' mentality. Have fun with nothing but action shooters, since that is all the future seems to be concentrating on. I'd take Crash Bandicoot 2 or Spyro over those any day.

They both were quite terrible for FF standards. Seriously, the ending of XIII-2 pissed me off so much. Oh, thanks Square Enix for making the story that I was trying to follow this whole time completely meaningless.
Uh, yeah, it is COD's fault. COD sells millions every year and it seems that Activision now has a mentality that if a game doesn't sell COD numbers, then it is not worth supporting. COD AND Activision are both ruining this industry.

This is a system really deserves good sales. It just needs a few more big releases with good marketing. Marketing is key.
I bought XIII-2 used for $20 and it is quite a bit better than the original, but the story is just awful. They all have the 'Yeah! We can do it!' attitude which gets old quick. The time traveling concept was also quite dumb. It killed the feel of the game's world for me.
I really cannot agree with XIII-2 being there. It is a good game and I am enjoying it, but it feels lacking in quite a few areas. Also, the story is GARBAGE. The time traveling concept got old quick and it made me lose all interest in the world, which is damn shame because the world of XIII was actually a bit interesting.
I really wish that Activision didn't have a stranglehold on so many franchises........

As somebody already, they made the Pippin a long while back, and it didn't do so hot. Video games are already mainsteam so I don't see them bothering nowadays, unless they made a Call of Duty specific console.
