Who's rewriting history? You do know that R1 sold 4-mil because, at that time, there weren't much games to satisfy people of other genres, so they bought R1. Those who (2-mil plus) bought R2 were true resistance fans (like myself). What we wanted was more explanation and the use of sources they established from part one. My critism was more towards r3 development choices, and how they handle r2 (updates, dlc, etc.). Wtf happen with r3 was not us but insomniac themselves.

Like someone else stated. VGchartz has Gt5 prolouge under 5mil (i believe at 4.3mil) while the official sales on Gt site has it at over 5mil. thats a 700,000+ difference. i believe they also did the same for the actual gt5 game. they also didnt track MAG or Warhawk sales correctly.

well, according to your assessment. it sold *500k*, thats 500,000, in words thats five-hundred-thousand. 1 percent of 500k is 5,000 thats still a fair amount of people playing. do not dismiss 1 percent/5,000 people as "no one". also the number could remain the same or go up as more people buy it cheaper.
