I bought this game, it is very fun! It's one of those rare gems, i run into by luck and buy from doing a bit of research and strike gold. Another rare gem would be anarchy rush hour.

sorry, but it's no longer a "big game/world" when you cut back your multi-player to 8 vs. 8 and your co-op to two. the big human vs chemira battles really gave a feel to the whole "war" against race for survival experience. it took the single player struggle/battle and implemented the feel to it online. i hate that, any character, can ride any vehicle. it utterly defeats the purpose and what twisted metal stood for. the vehicle was very much the characters personality and reflected them accordingly. it has to be, my biggest gripe and turn off about this iteration twisted metal.
still it was a sweet trailer though. if my ps3 was backwards compatible i would be playing my rare double disc: twisted metal black and the separate twisted metal black online!!!

The mgs story gotten stale to me unfortunately. Just couldn't get into 3/4.
Cod would be a B to Cish type Hollywood movie, with no name movie stars. it's just mindless/fancy explosions/gun fights. Besides only like 40% or less of the cod buyers play the single player.
Bf3 would be a blockbuster movie with top actors like in top military movies.
People need to understand that sega moved on from this franchise. Neither game was profitable to them as well. They transition shenmue to yakuza and skies of Arcadia to valkryia chronicles. The shenmue (dc in general) fanbase is in scruple and continues to dwindle.
Modern warfare (cod) is the least realistic fps game. Seriously tired of you guys who never held a gun or been in combat thinking COD is realistic. Please don't get me started on why that game is the fakest amongst fps games.. Even though you obviously cannot mimic real life in a video game others do it better than cod.

1up has to be one of the very rare most fair review sites I know.
