The graphics on the maps are better in Gears two.
The graphics on the characters are better in one. Just look at the Locust Chain mail... it has bump mapping... two doesn't! (must view on HD TV!)
Glitch of War 2 dumb-down the graphics on the characters to get 5 on 5.... and they dumb-down the frames rates to make it work (1,2,3).
Unreal engine only works if you lower the frame rate... low frame rates is not ideal for a shooter game...
you are clearly trolling but make a great point about the movement. The frames per second in Glitch of War 1 & 2 is horrible. It is clear to me the unreal engine can not cut the mustard. Crysis 2 Drop the unreal engine... why dont Gears!

the only advise that I could give is Lag your connection... you will be much harder to kill... Try downloading bit torrents, my K/D is 4.5.

LAG WAS HORRIBLE. WILL NOT BUY FOR MULTI PLAYER! KILL CAM WAS WAY OFF AS WELL. PLAY WITH NO LAG AND DOMINATED... BUT WHEN I PLAYED WITH A FRIEND WE HAD LAG. I PUT TWO CLIPS INTO SOMEONE FROM TWO FEET AWAY AND HE PUT THREE CLIPS INTO ME... I WAS FINALLY KILLED BY SOMEONE ELSE. I WAS A GOOD LAUGH WITH THE OTHER PLAYER.
