i think sony needs to sell twice as much as this to cover ground. but i have no doubt sales well pick up even more with a price cut and the upcoming game releases.
i read on a website that Valkyria Chronicles is sold out in japan. i'm really looking forward to this game and if it sells well maybe we'll see an English version. can anyone confirm this. i know it's a little off topic but it is still sales related.

i tried the demo, this game is getting close to beating PES in terms of gameplay and it's leaps and bounds ahead off it in terms of presentation. I'll skip buying it and wait for fifa 2009.
just cause the ps3 will be seven years old doesn't mean the ps4 won't be in the market. ps2 is 8 years old and we already have ps3. when sony says ten year life it means it'll have support for that amount of time not there won't be another system for ten years.
so a 5 week month and the ps3 and 360 didn't make it to 300,000 sold. as sony said almost two years after launching the ps2 "this war is over". unfortunately it's ninteno who won it this time and with a bang.
i wouldn't call them casual. mario kart isn't exactly a casual game but it doesn't have problems selling +500,000 in a week. it's the HD systems that are having trouble. i think owning a ps3+ and HD TV and i live Internet connection is taking a much longer time than expected. in fact this is the main reason i hope this generation of hardware last a bit longer so more people can jump in. even ps3 is selling in a much slower rate than ps2 worldwide. as for the 360, it seems Microsoft isn't expa...

the only reason you're feeling this is cause there are a lot more Europeans playing online on the psn. especially Spaniards, they invaded resistance1 and warhawk(not that there is anything wrong with Spaniards, hola madrdid & barcelona).
well it's hard and only a few have managed 1080P at 60fps but i have faith in insomniac. and even if they didn't do it, i wouldn't be disappointed.

to say it's looking good is kind of an understatement.
i didn't get it. is this something sony intentionally made or is it just a hardware bug of some sort? and does it really clean the system? and why doesn't it work on the 60GB version? it would have saved me a lot of time vacuuming the system. and i'm asking too many questions. sorry
i'd say dragon quest, fatal frame and monster hunter makes this theory right, at least in japan. but when it comes to the western parts of the world. the ps3 & 360 are having most of the good third party support.
lol, now that i think about it. how was i calling it a casual system? it's true most of it's games are mindless motion sensor crap but the three i mentioned above are more than enough to make it a hardcore system.
