like what rikitatsu said, piracy was a big factor for the ps2 to sell as much as it did. where i live pirated ps2 games are sold for a $3 dollars. but of course it's not te only reason it did so well, cause even the original xbox and the game cube had pirated games. infact the wii selling rather well here cause of two reasons:-
1- cause it's cheaper
2- it has pirated games
it not selling at ps2 levels where i live though, i think the game library isn't as interesting.

so it was game spot and now game trailers. i don't care which system they favor, it doesn't really matter. what really matters is why???? not why are they doing this. but why is all this bias stuff happening.
please don't ruin the gaming industry. after all it's just games, we're not running a mafia over here. sorry for btching but i'm really hating all this crap.

don't know what all the fuss is about?. i got the first GOW and aside from the graphics i didn't like it much. i think heavenly sword 2 will be better than GOW on ps3.

ohhh man.........i wish there was an agree to all button and bubbles to all button. insomniac, proving again and again how talented they are. i mean check the improvements list!!!!!! if you take the stuff on the list and separate them on a couple of games they'll all be AAA games. resistance FTW.
ahhhh....maybe my post didn't give you the right idea(English isn't my first language) i wasn't talking about a gamer like you people and me. i've go 16 games on my ps3, i even got wild arms!!!! but like ps2 before it, many people will get the system to watch blu-ray movies. people like my cousin for example. he got a ps2 and PES(pro evoultion soccer) it's the only game he has, most of the time he only watches DVDs on it . and now that i told him that the future is blue he'll pick a ps3. and...
not talking about you..........i'm talking about the guy who wants to get in the High def movie wagon. he sees a cheap ps3 blu-ray player, he buys it and he buys blu-ray movies. and perhaps in time he may pick a game or two(usually a sports game) and thats it.
ps......i also have one blu-ray movie and thats all.
to simply put it. a couple of million ps3 buyers who will use it primarily as a blu-ray player and perhaps buy a game or two at the most.
i don't think an extremely casual gamer could finish mario galaxy. and if he did then i won't categorize him as casual. hell I'll embrace him and say"welcome to hardcore land".
yeah, I'm not sure what sony has to do with anything. besides it's not like ps3 is threatening wii sales in japan!! wii was,is and probably will outsell ps3 with or without SSB.
i swear id didn't know anything about blu-ray profiles, i got a ps3 to play FF games. turns out i also got into the winning HD format, but that was just lady luck smiling at me.

no system will vanish. everyone of them will at least run it's 4-5 years cycle. and with wii-fit mariokart and smash Bros i think the wii is in for another phenomenal year.

so it'll be released in 2008 then. so that makes it number 25 on my list for 2008. this is crazy i don't have the time for all these games.
but i can't afford not to buy them, it's an addiction and i need rehab.
