from all the games you mentioned above only metal gear is a system seller in japan. and it's not that big of a system seller. the ps3 sales are really hurting now and it's 15,000 or less in the last couple of weeks. the fact that the ps3 isn't doing so well has hurt the whole of the Japanese 3rd party development community as their games don't sell to well on the wii.

thats what i used to think. Nintendo won't let it happen though, they are a much smarter company than we give it credit for. and if demand does decrease i think a price drop will put it right back up.

i honestly never doubted sony's ability to turn things around, they had so many things going for them that were only ahead of their time. but now the time is right and things couldn't look any better for sony.

try finding a sport you like that involves some movement, like basketball or football or anything like it. i know how tedious going to the gym gets. i always get a 6 month subscription and end up going a month or to. but i'm a really fit guy cause i play soccer at least five times a week for a 2 hour duration. i'm not saying i'm good i'm just saying i enjoy it thats why i keep at it.

why if you know your football you'd know that captin stubasa was one of the main reason japanese football became the best in asia(i'm not japanese).
and i'm not that big of an anime fan i just like the oldies like tsubasa , grendizer and conan of the future. the new ones are kinda confusing.

i remember street fighter 2 being a snes exclusive and it really helped the system beat the Genesis(mega drive). we're talking about one of the most recognizable series in gaming history right there with mario and sonic. so you can take all your caliburs and tekkens and virtua fighters and leave the holy street fighter alone.

I'm all up for pc gaming as long as it's a board game like risk or a strategy game like age of empires those are the only two pc games i ever played. aside from that it's consoles for me.
indeed, i never thought ps3 will sink back to sub 15,000 a week after a price cut and the avalability of dynasty warriors, GT prologue and hot shots golf but it did.
right now all i can say to sony is look at your own psp numbers before the slim psp and FF combo and take a hint. the japanese gaming comunity doesn't like big bulky hardware and despite the ps3 looking nice it's still a big mother $#@#$. add to that there's still no FF game on the system, come to think of it there'...
