Yes it will. It's not coming off like a Wii Knockoff which many get the impression of with Move.
Good sales should mean lots of software support for it and hopefully not a bunch of patches for old games and Wii ports.

Yes, what you saw was real and yes it will work. But maybe some genres won't work as well with it. No big deal, I don't see anyone crying that the Move controller can not be used in the racing genre either. What are you going to do point on the screen where you want the car to go?

Why have any of this motion stuff when the controller works better for all of it?? Why don't we demand Sony and MS remove the controller and use only mouse and keyboard because that has been proven to be the most accurate and the least amount of lag.

Anyway, I welcome any hybrid type of games. You can be the controller in every single launch game and I'm sure for a majority of their catalog for Kinect however I want some Kinect in my hardcore gaming so bring it on.
I look at it as not Kinect adding a controller but bringing aspects ...
I'm 5'11 and I've had no problems at 4ft away.
Camera placement can also effect it.

Yes, I believe it was sold out and I've yet to read one piece of information that proves the opposite. All I see is anecdotal evidence at best and I've had first hand experience going out a bit today and not being able to find a Kinect sensor.

I've got about 6 ft but I've played Kinect within just 4 feet...
What was the expectation? People throwing money at MS execs as they are talking?? Did this guy expect to get a solid gold Kinect or something.. Some people you can't please no matter what.
