MS is talking too much sh!t lately. Instead of talking, they should work on improving their game.
...that chick can't write. She writes like she's still in high school or something (maybe she is). She states the Xbox 360's failure rate is 16% like that is some sort of fact, I know its higher than normal but some reports say as high as 70%, others (except for MS) say as low as 16%.
Nice headline, crappy article.
the xbox 360 WAS early. if they waited 6-10 months, MS probably could've included an hd-dvd drive. but instead, MS jumped the gun and included a last-gen format, the dvd.
and ps3 was NOT late. in fact, the ps3 was rushed to market b/c sony didn't want to fall too far behind the xbox 360. if the xbox 360 wasn't already on the market, i think the ps3 would have come out 6-12 months later.
When in doubt, blame the Xbox 360.
ps- i know this happened on the ps3, I'm just saying...
Microsoft needs to be embarrassed.
Keep the RROD articles coming, I never get tired of them. Do it until MS recalls the Xbox 360. That will probably never happens so just keep on submitting these articles.
Next thing you know, they'll have NC17 porn games on the Xbox 360.
He's the same guy who gave Rachet and Clank a 7.5 right? This guy is terrible at reviewing playstation games. I hope he'd quit GS to make that place a better website.
...that's badass. Now you know GT:Prologue's physics are quite realistic. Amazing.
OFF-TOPIC
Dude, IMO, your avatar is borderline kiddy-porn. That girl looks like she's 12 and she's s*cking on a banana like she's s*cking on a c*ck. I'm sorry, that's just creepy. Hopefully you'll change your avatar.
This guy is 100% correct. No need to spin the story, just call a spade a spade. The ps3 is what put BR over the top.
10 million+ ps3's vs 1 million HD-DVD players (and not even 1 million HD-DVD players)....HD-DVD can't win against those numbers.
What you wrote is so funny. I definately L-ed OL.
Their stuff always breaks. Its just what they do.
It sort of depends on what grade level you're at also. High school (being relatively easy) there won't be much of an effect. College there will be a bigger effect.
Post-graduate work (more difficult by far), there will be a big effect of video games. I'm doing post-graduate work now and I have to admit, my Battlefield 2142 playing is adversely effecting my studies. I think for other genres, such as driving and racing games, the negative effect isn't nearly as big. I think...
I guess this is why EA's Battlefield games (among other games) are so popular. BF2 and BF2142 are just big, elaborate games of territory. I'm not saying they bad games (I actually think they're great, I have them both) but they are what they are.
A person just needs to make sure they keep their playing habits in check (like anything else in life).
'Listen, I know from reading your post, that you for some reason have jumped onto the Vista hating bandwagon when you really have no reason to.'
Wow, you're a really bad reader. If you read my posts carefully, you would know that I am downgrading from Vista to XP (right now in fact). That's a pretty good reason to hate Vista. On Vista, I can't play BF2142 without it crashing (and btw, i know a thing or two about computers as well, having worked as a system administrator in S...
'Ohh there is nothing to make DX10 incompatable, with DX9. Actually you can choose to use DX9 over DX10 if you so desire.'
You are absolutely, 100% wrong. You need to study harder in CS. BTW, i don't remember being given a choice of DX9 or Dx10, where do you make that choice in Vista Mr. Computer expert?

I just bought a sweet a$$ laptop (Dell XPS 1530) but unfortunately windows xp wasn't an option, it only came with Vista. i have to tell you, Vista is terrible for playing games.
Battlefield 2142 crashes like crazy in Vista, so now i am in the process of downgrading to XP (i'm downloading XP off of bittorrent as we speak).
alot of Vista's problems with gaming has to do with DirectX 10 (which is Vista only) being non-backwards compatible with DirectX 9 (at leas...
This situation is just sad, especially for his family. But Uncle Sam probably should have taken better care of its wounded veterens.
