i went through 8 360's until i gave the repaired one away to a cousin. im thinking of getting this one but i think rrod wont be fixed until they either shrink it to 45nm(cpu/gpu) or they make the case a lot bigger. if anyone has ever built a pc u would know that the air flow the 360 has a is very poor. im thinking of getting a cheap 360 opening it and putting new thermal compound and replacing the fans with better ones and many other things. i seen the insides of the 360 and its plain out sad...
i agree mostly about what he said but why cant we have it all.
load times dont bother me a bit in most next gen games. most load times are less then a minute and some ps3 games only load for about 5 seconds to 10. installs do kinda bother me because of harddrive size but that can be fixed. is dvd really that much faster or are they both about the same.
i read the article as much as i could but i didnt see anything cheap in it what so ever. for blue-ray to sell really great they need a 100 to 150 player in the market. i kinda understand because this players do a lot more then just video they do audio really good. i figure the bd-live thing should not cost that much to put in a player. i guess if any one wants a bd-player the ps3 is still the only reasonable choice.
the glitches are so bad for me that i cant even pass the game. im stuck at this mission were i have to save some guy but his ai is so bad he doesnt get in the car. then when i got him to he didnt want to get out of the car, so i got mad and killed him. i hated the joystick sensitivity so much but i think they said they fixed it so im good.
i hope they fix a lot of things that i was having problems with.
i only have played two games that i think are great this gen.
i have to see real gameplay of flash point. i dont think the game is going to look like the way they are saying it is. maybe its going to play the way it is but most of the time this kind of games get dumbed down for one reason or the other. hope i didnt offend anybody its just that i been there done that kind of thing. i as much as others hope it is as good as shown.

consoles are getting more popular every year but pc gaming just kinda stays the same. pc has its fans and they have never really left them some with consoles. pirating is getting out of hand i have to admit to that but its not enough to kill it. as long as console games r being made on pc then it might never will.

i had my 360 craped on me seven times for different reasons. now my friends see as a fanboy of sony because thats all i play on. to make it worse all of them had the 360 go out on them more then three times. i decided to give my refurbished system to a family member because i know that the 3 years deadline is near. i am not going to buy another 360 ever again until they completely fix it and yes i had a elite and that craped died too.
u can buy a 1920x1200 monitor for less then 500 but its still expansive. people have to understand that pc gamers are probly the most hardcore gamers known to man. they thrive for perfection and dont settle for less and that should not be seen as a wast of money if thats what u want. a thousand dollar pc might not last u 5 years but it will still play games better then consoles in five years and more.
