Was good to see the back of Jim Ryan tbh, now get all the internal studios working on what made the PlayStation platform so successful over the past 2 gens. Outstanding single player experiences.
The presentation is very decent in most areas on PlayStation, but god are some of the textures pretty bad. The mountain sides and rocky terrain stand out the most, but the foliage is some of the best I've ever seen, especially with the leaves blowing in the wind. The lighting was superb as well. Will love to see the Digital Foundry comparison when it's released.
Before they nerfed the breaker, shield and rail gun I was playing on helldiver difficulty, now I struggle on hard 😂 they definitely need to address the spawn rates of heavy enemies. They also need to boost the damage of most of the weapons cause some feel absolutely useless. The mechs have been dope though I must say.
God I would live a Killzone or Resistance collection. Really hoping for a new one in either franchise down the line, loved both series.

It's why I tend to steer clear of this website, just go to gaming forums and reddit it's less toxic. So much bias towards playstation on here is ridiculous, it's called N4G not N4P. I play on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, because guess what? I enjoy games not a specific brand. Reminds me of being back in school sometimes I swear 😂
It was released ages ago I watched it all on a forum post months ago? They even release a PC demo you could download at the time (obviously I didn't as you could get in serious trouble), was about 3 different videos as well. Showed that you play as 2 characters but don't wanna spoil it so watch anything you see at your own risk.

Layoffs after a merger of this magnitude are not exclusive to just this acquisition, there was always going to be a certain amount of overlap that makes certain positions within both parties redundant. Yes it sucks but that's how businesses operate. We can all sit here and say 'how dare they?' but at the end of the day this is all about money whether you like it or not.
I second this some of my favourite online gaming moments was in that game, every match was epic.
Never really thought of it this way but you are right, you can either pay £70 for some extra 'cut' levels and a rogue lite mode, or just play the full release at 60fps for £15. When you think of it that way it's not worth it at all, just buy the PS4 version in a sale and upgrade for £10 and surely it will work out cheaper? Honestly 4 years and we get a basic 'remake' of 1 which was already remastered, and now remaster of 2 which was already updated to 60fps on PS5? As someone who has platinumed both and love TLOU and Naughty Dog this sucks, I'm burnt out on these old games give us something new.
Fingers crossed for Baldur's Gate 3, if not I'll just bite the bullet anyway.

I literally picked up the HD collection on Xbox for like £5, it goes on sale all the time so that still seems to be the best option, even got peace walker HD for like £5 as well. I'll purchase MGS1 separately when it's available though.
I agree, I really enjoyed 4, 5 was pretty terrible, Infinite was decent, especially the MP.
