If there's a 7870 in the ps4,this wouldn't be much faster.
The R9 270 consistently hits 1080p 30+ fps but less than 60fps on high.

I think $499 is expensive. Undercutting the X box one would make this machine much more enticing and make me bite the bullet.

If you buy a pre-built pc, changing the internals voids your warranty anyway.

Tbf the ps1 and ps2 were great.
Even after Sony dominated the market, great games still kept coming.
We'll never understand the true effects of competition unless we're making the exec decisions or they relay info to us.
For example the DS4 being a massive improvement for FPS's because of the Xbox controller.
Massive improvement in battery life, plus cool colours make me want to wait for this vita.

I guess this box makes it easier to get into pc gaming for those that may not want to build something or have a tower in their living room.
It's an interesting premise which I can't see being as popular as consoles though because they're more accessible.
The point's irrelevant. The value of the ps4 in terms of gaming is immense at that price point.
The fact is you have to spend more building a pc to get that sort of tech.
A more expensive rig will generally be better.

I don't think this makes a difference really. I never really paid attention to the people I killed/killed me on cod.
But I guess an extra can't be bad for us consumers.
It didn't look terrible, it seems to be going back to the modern warfare days which is a plus.
Having said that, Black ops 2 ruined the franchise for me, and battle field 3 being free to play online now as well, gave me the chance to play it.
