You are right, but they can't compare each scores to previous ones, and scores of different kind of games (if you give more than 5 to any psn/xblive game, or any sport, puzzle, etc game with little differences from the older ones, you have to give more then 10 to kz3, crysis, etc...so)
The difference beetween kz and crysis : kz3 has many 9 to ten, with some really (and usual) biased reviews giving 6, 7...crysis has more 8.

As pc gamer too, with a ps3 (like every serious gamer, because the best exclusives since 3,4 years are on ps3), we are always expecting too much with our "big guns", but in fact, dev can't make games only for the best pc (pc games don't sell well, if they can't sell it to most of the pc = no $)
After the best console launch, you have to wait 3,4 year to see pc game (only some of them), on par with consoles games (and not a single gow, uncharted, ratche...
Why can you buy an xbox when you can have a ps3 (better and more exclusives, graphics, bluray, etc)for the same price ?
ask people why they are buying to much xbox in states, it's a smarter question (even if we know some reasons : marketing, biased medias, 1 year launch advantage, and some nationalism too)

The most important thing, is that is the truth, you can just look at the games mades since 2007, you can look at heavy rain, and agree with him...if it was ms, all gamers with a good tv set and eyes would disagree.

ds has many fun games to play, i don't deny that, but don't transform a commercial success in a stupid superiority, when psp is more powerfull, has a better screen, better controlers, etc.
