And it actually seems sincere too and not just to avoid backlash. Although personally, I think too much attention has been put into box art that you can't even see unless you bought the game(at least until the Internet got a hold of it).
Yep, I got mine that way but I accidentally used it the first time I got to sanctuary because I was just all gitty that I found a loot chest and I wasted the key cause now I don't even use the 2 weapons I got from it anymore since they're so weak :(
They do lack in depth and the only time I've had problems with controls is on the shooter games. Infinity blade 1 and 2 were great and I've bought two of the square enix produced games and they were also great. But if you want depth in a mobile game, you'll be paying $18 for the game which a lot of people don't bother with because they prefer the $1 games for a quick fix.

Not to mention that the legal gaurdian had to consent to him buying the game, seeing as how he was 14. So even if his suicide magically correlates to CoD then his parents should take fault. But magic isn't real so the game didn't cause his suicide

How about Project Gotham Racing??? It was also a launch title. And Crimson Skies and the original Halo(or even Halo 2) are good enough to be on this list. But those three games were the most played games by me on my Xbox.
I don't know. You tell me what the big deal is since you also get them. Why would you have some then wonder why people get them?
I played through the first one, never really thrilled, and even halfway through again online. But the game, in my opinion, was just repetitive and just never really excited me. And now in this one we get the same characters and what I assume will be the same repetitiveness. I'll rent this one just like the other though. Definitely won't be a buy for me.
The best guess would probably be to just not over think it. A cameo doesn't mean it has to be a popular character.
Never played an RPG as much as I have a shooter before. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
It's such a love/hate thing when I beat a game and am just hoping its worth me sitting there and watching all of the credits. It almost hurts when the credits end and I'm still waiting for that "moment" to happen and it never does but instead, returns to the main menu.

It would be a wonderful thing if this does help kids or even anyone that is abused. But I just don't really see how it can help all that much. The game though does look fun.
There is, however, one positive of this complaint. Borderlands 2 is getting ATTENTION. A lot of you know that the first Borderlands didn't get too much attention and it turned out to be a gem. So I'm glad that they are actually getting the attention, even if it is over something so dumb.
If anyone in this world has a sense of humor anymore then you would just giggle/laugh at the girlfriend mode then continue on with your life. It's a joke. I bet the people who are the ones complaining, aren't someone's girlfriend or don't have a girlfriend. Therefore they want to argue since it makes them realize they're alone in life.
I have none of this stuff for my 360 but I have media remote and the energizer charging stand for my ps3. I also pretty much agree in entirety with these, except if you were a more casual gamer then you wouldn't really need the HD gameplay recorder.
But then that's just another way people would complain about it being a rip off of smash bros
