I guess i just dont understand how a 10+ million install base, and thats being conservative, is considered small enough to not make a game for. Are people so blinded by their favorite console that they just believe the other one is crap. They are both great consoles in my eyes.

Not sega...mobile. Ok pure speculation here but. They test the waters soon with mobile. They put out a mario game and make millions because they have superior knowledge of the handheld market. Then they realise there is no need to spend money on R & D for hardware because there are dozens of mobile companies already doing so and so they focus purely on software. Nintendo could reign once more if they went software only and released on all platforms. Mobile, PC, and consoles

The xbox is doing quite well, it is outpacing the 360 from previous generation. Sony is selling better still. One should do some research before posting so they dont sound uninformed.

I would say they dropped the original visions to be more inline with what gamers want. Originally ps4 wanted the same things but very smartly went with the model we have today. Games with gold sure i give you that but that was happening in the 360 era. I would have to say though xbox is doing a great job trying to innovate the brand and they both take things from each other and thats ok cause it only benefits us as gamers.
