I agree with you, alot of the games that ubisoft makes are made with the Unreal engine and if they want to push the limits then they should come up with their own engine and do something about it.
I probably won't put alan wake as the MS IP because that game was suppose to be a multiplat but MS wanted a game to compete with heavy rain so they payed them a lot of money to make it an exclusive. it could still come to the ps3
I agree with almost all of what you said. I agree with the whole thing you mentioned in the second paragraph, but what you said about Microsoft making the expensive console i have to disagree.
I feel that they won't do that because they do not have many internal studios dedicated to their hardware and because of that they are going to want to make it cheap and easy for publishers and developers to work with.
what the head of THQ said sums it up perfectl...
this game is going to be on sale for $10.00 at Canadian Gamestops as a Canada Day sale
It does not make sense to compare Gears sales to the sales of Uncharted 3. Of course Gears is going to outsell Uncharted 3 because the poor losers who own only an xbox 360 really have no choice because there is no real other game to buy.
MS themselves knew of this and they pushed to release date to this holiday, it was originally planned to be released earlier but they know their owners are fools and thus the fools follow.
after I read all the previews I thought that it was going to be like COD but after I played the beta I found it to be totally different. and anyone who says it is the same and plays this game in a typical COD fashion is going to pay by getting murked by all those that know of the difference and play it as such
because they cannot get the game to run properly without the hard drive and because MS pushes for no hard drive requirement, DICE is struggling to get it to work. what MS needs to allow DICE to put a hard drive requirement on the box and sell it.
This was a surprisingly well written article for N4G. Well done.
I have to agree with you about the whole Nickle and dime scheme. when they do that what we end up getting are games that are imbalanced. just look at the free lord of the rings MMO.
they are not going to be "killstreaks" but more so "medal-streaks". in COD you kill an X amount of people to get a bonus, but in UC3 you have to get X amount of medals to get that bonus.

I agree with you and I am now sort of glad that there was a psn outage because if it were not for the outage then I would have not known of this event and I would have missed out on it
I personally don't think Mark Wahlberg can make a good Nathan Drake but with director martin o russle it is a possibility that this may work
you guys in Australia get way too over charged.
also to note for american and Canadian readers. the exchange rate is roughly 1:1 right now.
holy crap these guys are serious. i predict by the end of next year we can expect a movie made on this whole fiasco with sony owning the distribution rights.
go sony!!!!!!!! show these losers no mercy
hopefully because of this the NFL would take away its exclusive deal with EA and allow SEGA and other companies to make NFL games.
I totaly agree with what you say because he has been proven to be such a tool, i remember not to long ago he was saying how PS3 is destined to remain in second place. he is so dumb to come up with stupid comments like these, why do people take him seriously?
this guy cannot play for shit
a character that xbox can get for them exclusively could be the RROD!!!! lol. when he does his fatality your system shuts down
i don't think it is going to be Ryu Hayabusa because they would have to buy the rights from team ninja and if WB were to acquire the rights then they would want to put it on the PS3 also to utilize the rights of it to the max
Also i think marcus is not going to be in it either because Epic Game owns the right to the gears series and they would need to buy the rights from them
I highly doubt this to be true considering that in 2010 gamers spent 24 billion dollars globally
