Maze, Night Lore, Bruce Lee (spectrum 16 abd 48k machines)
Lord of the rings was a fantastic text based rpg...but it took ages to load from cassette.
Not necessary. If you enjoy the game, good. It's not for me anymore.
I said weeks ago, the game died with Soap (And Infinity Ward for that matter!).
...and this dlc doesn't do it for me.
RIP SOAP :)
Look forward to seeing it RJaimes.
FPS will never die. Its like suggesting RTS or RPG could die.
Genre's don't die but they need to evolve and this is limited to the interface and the technology.
There's only so much you can do with mouse and keyboard, or controllers. Not to mention how the world is presented to the player....flat 2d screen - 3dvision or hd3d, you're still staring at a flat box.
VR will chan...
Welcome!
As a pc gamer, I've owned a number of consoles and approached both platforms (PC and various consoles) very differently.
There are pc games where it just makes sense to use console controllers.
And then there are my favorite FPS titles where I wouldn't even try to play with analog thumbsticks.
And by the way, I RARELY game at my desk. I'm usually in the living room playings BF4 with keyboard and mouse on...
This is the DEV KIT sales. NOT the consumer product.
My dk1 just died and i wanted to buy a replacement. Bugger.
I'll have to wait for god knows how long now.
As if your opinion is fact. OK, you find it fun.
I find the pilot gun fights fun.
The titan vs titan shootouts are dull - there is definitely something lacking.
Not bad. I would have opted NOT to buy if I hadn't already pre-purchased months ago.
It is faster than COD, but I understand the COD with robots benchmark.
Unless you're fighting titan on titan. Then it's a slower mech game (somewhere in between Hawken and Mechwarrior).
The game needs a pilot only mode for pakour fun.
It also needs a no AI mode to get rid of the idiot grunts.
It is not a game changer but it is fun.
Not worth the $$$ though (overpriced AU region)
It needs two things.
1. Pilot or Titan only mode.
2. NO AI mode.
Dice,
I'm not going to say fix the game. That's a given.
I'm not going to ask for the DLC...as a premium owner I'm entitled to it. (You sold it, I bought it. Either provide the promised product, or give me back my money).
You want me to "appreciate" BF4 and all your hard work??
You need to apologize for making us put up with your broken product.
Give us content. Not skins, tags, or battlepacks.
I bought Ghosts. And I'd rather talk about my self abuse than actually admit to spending money on this game.
I am THAT embarrassed that I bought it!
I refuse to read the article.
Why is the phrase cod killer still around?
It's long dead (as many before have pointed out).
The duology that is Modern Warfare as made by the artists formerly known as Inifity Ward was fantastic. But let it die. (MW3 and MW4 just don't exist.)
Note: I'm known to say the same for the Starwars Trilogy as episodes 1 to 3 don't exist. They just don't. :)
Modular...more like segmented.
Sexy none the less. :)
And no water cooling.
Razer's CEO kept using the words "completely open".
There is nothing "open" about this hardware platform.
People who can't be stuffed building their own.
AND...
people who would DUAL boot them to get their AAA windows titles also working.
...or a die hard linux gamer who is a Windoze snob.
Oh yeah, in both cases, somebody with more money than sense.
I'm only slightly disappointed by the 6v6 cap.
I find BF3 close quarters or BF4 TDM to be a LOT of fun with a good balance of tension vs all out action when there are 10 to 16 players.
32 and 64 player servers have their place, their scale, and their advantages and are fantastic too.
Let's just hope it doesn't have MW2's problems (sitting in lobbies for 20 minutes with 3 players unable to start the game! F@#% that!!)
...
Steam machines are PC's trying to dress up as consoles.
The hardware varies. The OS is going to vary slightly between hardware vendors as a result.
Remember that this is a linux desktop, running a locked down Steam client. With access to the linux gnome desktop restricted.
This is a PC with it's legs broken. No openess, no flexibility. Just Gabe's world.
I was hopeful for SteamOS...but I've changed my mind.
There is nothing “open” about a linux desktop locked down by a proprietary interface running only the games Gabe wants to publish.
I’ve tried the SteamOS beta on a MiniITX box. I have to admit that some of the steam machines are sexy. But I'd be dual booting them (although what's the point, with Big Picture mode, you're getting the same experience in Windows).
I think Lin...
Just not much content yet.
But it's early still. :)
Is it safe to say that Steambox/Steam for linux has more titles than PS4 at the moment?
Not a bad looking box. My Fractal Design Node 304 has more power. I dual boot windows 8.1 and Linuxmint.
I've already met one peanut who, just for lolz, would by this unit and put windows on it so he can run steam and origin.
Can't say I blame him. Lack of AAA titles means I stick with dual booting. I'm not giving up Battlefield 4 on my TV just to play Half-Life 2 in linux.
Sign up some triple AAA devs to make Linux ports, Gab...
The dev's of Space Marines said the same thing. Even DICE said it before BF4's release (more accurately, it was stated that Frostbite 3 would support it).
They all think that if they slap the words "Oculus", "Rift" and "VR" then we'll throw money at them.
