Well I'm playing the game and love it. It looks great, handles great and has a huge variety of tracks and cars. I suggest everyone moaning just goes and plays what they enjoy, on whatever system they have and stop fretting. Most games have issues, and issues get fixed.
With reviews ranging from 3 to 9.5 I'm finding it hard to ever trust what a game reviewer says again, no matter what game or platform. I'll be asking friends and watching twitch streams to make my mind up from now on.
Intrusive Micro-transactions? I struggled to even find where they were in the game...
The pack gets removed after you purchase it as it gets added to your account as a service. Login in as a user that hasn't bought it and guess what, oh there it is... Just activate your PS3 and add it in game just as the first time you use it after purchase if you need to activate it again.
Blur was good, Split second was good. The issue was not of what makes racing games sell, but why the two competing games came out within a week of each other. Not many people buy two games in a week so they effectively halved their initial sales. It's the release schedule that needs looking at. Aim for a quiet part of the year when people want something new to get their teeth into.
Damn, you 360 owners always get the 1st dibs on DLC, it's so unfair! What? PS3? Really? We got it first? Well there's a turn up for the books..... Rant revoked.....
A pointless article as the texture issue was on 360 and not PS3. Nothing has change regarding textures for PS3 owners. A before and after comparison on 360, where there actually was a problem would be a little more useful I think....
Next thing you'll be telling me is that they re-used the engine code too....

Considering UC3 is out in Europe it's a little late to be preparing PSN for it! Another reason I expect.

GT5 is now not the same game as it was on release, a lot has changed. To offer a fair comparison they'd need to be played side by side now.
If you have a PC buy it on PC.
If you have a PS3 buy it on PS3.
If you have a 360 buy it on 360.
If you have multiple platforms but it on the one most of your friends use.
Just enjoy the game, however you play it and stop worrying about graphics on a platform you don't ever intend to use.

I agree and would love to see Homebrew on PS3 in an official way. Why Sony don't create an 'App Store' of sorts and let people submit apps to go on there in the same way Apple do is beyond me. I'd have thought it would be a major revenue channel and really add to the 'It only does everything...' label.

I think only the GT5 haters that are bored with nothing to play are doing the voting.
Most reviewers haven't played the game enough to scratch the surface, let alone form a thoroughly justified opinion.
Don't believe what you read, GT5 is a stunning game not to be missed.
