I'm actually Irish as well. I say actually because frankly this whole Irish blood thing so many American's claim as an excuse to act like eejits/be offended by these stereotypes is a joke at this point. Regardless, the "Evening Herald" is a crappy tabloid newspaper which in it's own meagre way tries to be above actually crappy tabloids like the Sun, and it sure does love it's sensationalism.

To me it has looks like something that a person who was messing with photoshop would try, and then probably realise doesn't work. The cover just looks wrong, although that could be the point, considering it is Fear.
The general public of Ireland happily celebrate our drunken, violent history. One only needs to watch the amount of adverts telling us to take it easy on the booze to see this.
