The fact is this is a business, it's not a prom and you can't where the same dress. MS has the hardcore market on lock. It's where the gamers go to game. However, it's trying to extend to casual market, why not try to take the wind out of the wii by, making LIVE games available with a wii like device. This would mean that all the casual games that are on wii will get ported to 360. More games = more fun = more money for MS.....

1) 360 users account for about 42% or all software sales.
2) Ps3 users do not.
Retailers know which hand feeds them and I just don't see a need to do it. It's Ms' responsibility. THe reasons I am going to buy a 360 and play this over the ps3 version is due to the controller.

I remember the frist time I played hru the game and spent my extra lives too early. I got to the giant staute and had half a bar left. I could not defeat the boss after about 100 tries. I replayed it and found it so much easier. Glad I did, i never would have beaten it.
This game would be more hyped if it was on ps3 too.

People talk about the Ps2 and the Psx but almost none of them were gaming when the Snes was around....

The perfect system. Honestly the xbox was a better system than the ps2 it just didn't have access to all of the games ps2 had. However, the snes had no equal.

The one thing these articles never take into consideration are price drops.
It single handledly saved the ps3 in July and i think it will spur both ps3 and 360 sales if 1 is announced....
However, it looks like the ps3 will catch and surpass the 360 in it's 4th year. That leave 2 more years for Sony as i believe the next gen 360 wwill launch at the end of year 6 or 7.
I will get both. They are kind of different games.
1 is very story driven and the other lets you customize the sh*t out of everything. I can't wait.
