The simple truth is the systems couldn't handle it no need to beat around the bush we're grown-ups.
it's pride you have some that only own the one console not because they don't have the means to own all of them but because of loyalty. To them a exclusive failing is like a knife to the gut, it mean's they have one less hit they can shove in the other guys face. That's why when you even hint that the reviewers can't all be ganging up on a single game you get hit with double digit disagrees.

I love narrative driven stories, I also believe if given the time and chance these dev's will deliver. Even naughty dog had a bad game but now they basically sit at the top among others.

it's not about price, more about enjoyment. It's almost like you're saying "it doesn't matter if the game isn't good it's only 60$" if the game was fun I don't think price would matter.
