The problem with GT is that it has always been a good driving sim, but not necessarily a good racing sim.
Yes, it is called "the Real Driving Simulator" for a reason. That reason is that somebody who works for Polyphony decided to put that on the box. Just because they claim it, doesn't make it so.

You may well not have seen it, but there is an extraordinary amount of hatred out there for this new DOOM. Just look at the Steam reviews of the beta, for a start. I don't really get the hate either. It seems that many of the haters wanted this game to be Quake V.

In fairness, the difference isn't huge. It's not like the difference between, say, the PS2 and the Xbox, or the SNES and Genesis, or PS1 and N64.

Are you suggesting that MS isn't doing well because Sony is doing better? Would you also say that a person that earns $10 million per year is unsuccessful because there are people that earn more? That the PS4 is outselling XB1 does not mean that the XB1 is not selling well. At this point in its life, the XB1 has sold better than the 360. Considering the disaster of E3, yes, they have recovered extraordinarily well.
By no stretch of the imagination is Crash Bandicoot a game "you must experience before you die". It's simply a good game in a sea of thousands of good games.
Hmmm. They mention the presence of screen tearing in the XB1 version. While I certainly experienced plenty of screen tearing during the closed beta, I have yet to see any in the open beta after several hours of play.
